FIXED - The Poke glitch
Put all your discussions into the famous poke glitch DOINK! Ow... Dang invisible cactus.
Basically... some geometry makes cactus pokes. Yeah, I'm certain most know about it by now! Here's what I know so far about this bug: It apparently happens on these specific holes of Woodlice West: 1, 2, 7, 10, 12, 14, In order of the holes above, the level IDs are: 200, 217, 221, 216, 223, 218 On holes 7 and 10, the poke sound begins right when the player starts the level. By starting the level very quickly, I noticed the player falls onto the starting position in these two levels. It also apparently seems to happen when Roly meets a rapid change in surface angle. The most noticeable samples of this is the half pipe in hole 7 and the ramps in hole 14. However, sometimes ti happens strangely, like when clipping a corner and bouncing at a strange angle, or in some instances, when going into the hole. |
