Timer on XP build is potentially slower in comparison to normal build - Mike - 01-18-2015 04:46 PM

Quote:[15:43] <+Inuyasha> yeah um
[15:43] <+Inuyasha> I'm pretty sure the timer runs slow in the XP build
[15:43] <+Inuyasha> Kitoko is using it
[15:43] <+Kitoko> whats problematic about the XP build
[15:44] <+Inuyasha> and his 26 second WW18 is 31 seconds long
[15:44] <+Inuyasha> which is about where my best is that uses the exact same route
[15:44] <+Kitoko> inuyasha can still use the XP build
[15:45] <+Kitoko> he should be able to
[15:45] <+Kitoko> then he can compare
[15:45] <@Spazzo> I'm watching the video with a timer on my PC
[15:45] <@Spazzo> His timer is slow
[15:45] <@Spazzo> Fancy that
[15:45] <@Spazzo> Good catch

Would recommend completing ticket #431 in conjunction so this can be determined with greater accuracy.

Here are my findings:

It's not related to lag. I redid my run, without recording, on a frameskipless run, and got a better time, 26:20.

I compared the timer on the XP build with my iPod touch's stopwatch, it apparently IS slow.. ... by 1 second for every minute.
